Four Comic Stories by Jim Osborne

I love Jim Osborne's work. A beautiful noir-ish style, with dark, well-written subject matter. Something tells me that Spumkin and Kurdt would like this:

The Suicide of Lupe Velez:

The Harbinger:

The Old Codger:

Kid Kill!:

All these stories are included in his one-shot comix collection, D.O.A. Comics. Whaddaya think of 'em?

Those are incredible! His style seems like a cross between Charles Burns and creepy old German wood cuts.
Thanks for making my week!
Didja notice the last supper homage in the first story?

And thanks for recommending Arno and Wilson. I peeked a bit at the artwork I could find online. Good stuff!

Can I ask where you found these by the way? I was reading a bit online and it seems like his comics are pretty rare. Apparently he was only active for about five years!

Glad ya liked 'em! I found his work just by studying the underground comix. I got the book Rebel Visions and his work stood out.

Oh, and actually I didn't notice the homage. Good eye!
